home sick

 

chloe had been home sick today with croup.  I have no idea how she got it because she was fine when she went to bed last night and I thought only babies came down with this. so today the  both of us spent the day crafting down in the craft room. I have been meaning to get a lot of my projects done forever. I have had this large frame on the wall in the office that had been empty since before christmas and every time I walked past it, it drove me crazy. I was able to “pimp” out our euchre basket for cards on friday and then make few little extras.   it feels good to get a couple of this done.

chloe and addison

it is hard to believe that chloe and addison have become friends. addisons mom(callie)  and I have been best friends since childhood. even though we are in different states we have managed to get our girls together.  they are so silly with their emails, letters and skyping of one another.  we do try to get them together several times a year.addison had called and wanted a sleep over at her house so we made the road trip to see her. lets just hope that they can stay out of trouble.

this has been chloes first year of brownies.  we did not do very well with our cookie sales. seeing that jim can not sell them at work she was kind of doomed. thanks to those of you that ordered.

projects

both of the girls have worked very hard the month of february on their projects.  chloe and a girlfriend both did the science fair together about how rain clouds are formed.  madelyn(jim) had to construct a car that was powered  by a mouse trap.this was more of a parent project, because there would have been no way she could have done this by herself. both of the girls did very well.
