the girl scouts last weekend sponsored a day of skiing up at mad river mountain. the 4 of us packed up all of our gear and headed out. the girls and myself immediately put ourselves into lessons, seeing that we have never skied before and jim took off for the slopes. after about on hour of lessons we were set free. it took a lot of begging to get me on the ski lift, but I finally put on my big girl panties and made it to the top.we all had a great time and only a couple falls and accidents.
on one of our many snow days this year, madelyn decided to curl chloes hair. it turned out adorable and I was just happy they werent arguing. now if only I had that much time every morning to do that.
little miss chloe needed glasses. after having a letter sent home from school saying she had failed their exam I took her for some new glasses. she ended up getting two pairs. one pair is black and white and the others are purple zebra. she looks adorable in them, but is a challenge to get her to wear them full time.
the new years video is finally done. we had a great time and thanks to everyone coming and celebrating again this year. I have no idea who got a hold of my camera, but I had over 200 pictures of just new years. (HUM! I think I one of the suspects took their own photo.) hope you all enjoy. I did no editing of any of the photos. there were just to many.

it is hard to believe that christmas and new years is over. the girls had a very busy break. between having family and friends over we had very little free time. we have enjoyed having jim home with since christmas eve. he was able to take so much needed time off. happy new year to all.
