happy birthday chloe!

it is hard to believe that chloe is turning "8". just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. due to our vacation to puerto rico we had to celebrate her birthday early. she was very excited to get her own bike. being the 2nd girl she has always had a hand me down bike. she will be celebrating her birthday with gigi and papaw this friday. they are even going to go have lunch with her at school. this is huge for any kid. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHLOE!!!We love you:)

humphrey christmas

due to illness we were able to finally have christmas with jims family this past weekend. they were so kind to caravan all the way to ohio. we greatly appreciated it. the girls had a great time seeing their cousins. they ended up staying most of the day. they left just in time before we had to call the fire dept. for some unknown reason our co2 detector started going off shortly after they left. after much wigging out of both girls and fear of immanent death they were sent across the street to the greenings and the fire dept was called. i was assured that there was not going to be any lights and sirens or fire truck when they were dispatched to our home. well, there was not any lights or sirens but i think they sent the biggest truck they have. after a clean sweep of the entire house we were given a new co2 and told everything checked out great and to replace our existing detector. if you ever need the beavercreek fire dept they are extremely nice. have a great week and i cant wait to enjoy the warmer weather headed our way. a

snow day

the kids enjoyed the day off of school. the snow was a welcome change for all. i think that we all had cabin fever and was in need of some airing outside. a

christmas 2009

it has come and gone. we wait so long and then it is over in a few short hours. we were extremly blessed this year with good health and much happiness. the girls cousins kennedy and klaudia were able to come spend the holiday with us. that is what the holidays are all about (family). chloe received a hamster this year. his name is mr. bibble. he is very cute but i still prefer not to touch him. it is the whole rodent thing. madelyns big gift this year was an ipod touch. this was great for her since 2 days before christmas she sent her phone through the wash. she is able to at least text the ipod. right now she trying to save every penny she has for a new phone. if anyone needs any odd jobs or babysitting done i am sure she is willing to help for a price. jim received the new nook from barnes and noble. i am hoping that it is as cool as what we have read about. should be here in a couple of weeks. my gift was a new laptop. hopefully i will be able to keep up with all of my blogging. happy new year to all. a

hoping that everyone has had a safe and happy new year. we ended up hosting the new years party very unexpectedly this year, due to illness at the denny home. we were able to pull it all together in about 3 hours. thank you to everyone that attended.it is always great to ring in the new year with people that matter the most to you.
